
Netflix has given the green light to a new rodeo drama series starring Tim McGraw, marking Down Home’s first scripted series. The untitled project, created and written by Brandon Camp, follows a legendary bull-riding champion (McGraw) facing a life-altering crossroads upon the arrival of a fearless young rider, whose presence challenges his ways and uncovers a sinister underbelly in the sport. Camp and Taylor Elmore will serve as co-showrunners, with McGraw, Tim Staples, Brian Kaplan, and Joel Bergvall executive producing for Down Home, alongside David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell for Skydance Television, the studio behind the series.
